NYCRUNS Summer Streets Group Run

Summer Streets ends this weekend. Get it in while you still can! NYCRUNS is hosting 3 runs this Sunday morning to celebrate Summer Streets. The 7AM time slot is for the 15-mile runners, the 8AM time slot is for the 10-mile runners, and the 9AM time slot will be for the 5-milers! Meet up at Foley Square at 111 Worth St. Pacing will be decided by abilities of the runners and the guide. Start your Sunday strong!

While it is still summertime and WARM here in NYC, take advantage of a free kayak session at Pier 26! The Boat House says this is their most popular program. They provide all the safety equipment coupled with anything else you may need on your kayak excursion. My suggestion: get in the water!

This weekend on Saturday, 8/18, join the New York Restoration Project and Bronx Brewery to help the Williamsburg Community Center prepare their garden, their education garden to be more specific, for the coming school year!
